Chattanooga police early Monday identified the victim of a non-fatal shooting Sunday on Davis Avenue.
Police said this morning in a release that 33-year-old Arthur Smith was found suffering from a gunshot wound to his leg about 1 p.m. Sunday.
Investigators said Smith and the suspect were at the Davis Avenue residence when the unidentified suspect drew a handgun and demanded that Smith "give him everything he had," the release states.
Smith was shot during a struggle for the gun, police said.
The investigation is active and ongoing.
