The number of property foreclosure sales in the second quarter fell by 28 percent in Tennessee and by 15.6 percent in Georgia compared with a year ago, RealtyTrac reported Wednesday.
The foreclosure reporting service said foreclosure and bank-owned property sales comprised about one of every five home sales in Tennessee and more than one of every three home sales in Georgia during the three months ended June 30.
