Catanzaro Jr. joins law firm

James L. Catanzaro Jr. has joined the law firm of Chambliss, Bahner & Stophel P.C. in its health care and corporate law sections.

His practice will continue counseling physicians groups, mental health facilities, hospitals and other health care providers. He will also handle a wide variety of business matters, from contract negotiations to transactional and regulatory issues, according to a news release.

He earned his undergraduate and law degrees from Ohio State University. He is licensed to practice in Tennessee and Georgia.

He and his wife, Mary Beth, and two children live on Lookout Mountain.


Pulmonologists join Partners

Drs. Carlos Baleeiro and Nathan Mull IV have joined Memorial Health Partners and are at the Pulmonary Medicine Center of Chattanooga.

They previously were at Battlefield Pulmonology in Fort Oglethorpe.

Baleeiro is board certified in pulmonary medicine, internal medicine and critical care medicine. He is a graduate of the Federal University of Bahia in Bahai, Brazil, and completed his residency in internal medicine at Hahnemann University in Philadelphia. He also attended the University of Michigan where he was a fellow in pulmonary and critical care medicine.

Mull graduated from the medical school at the University of Pennsylvania in Philadelphia and completed an internship and residency at the Naval Hospital in San Diego. He also received fellowships in pulmonary disease and critical care medicine at the Naval Hospital. He was a commander in the U.S. Navy.

Memorial Health Partners is a coalition of more than 140 physicians at 38 locations throughout this area.


Fletcher earns professional status

Haley Cook Fletcher, who is associated with Henderson Hutcherson & McCullough PLLC, has received the Certified Financial Planner designation.

She also is a certified public accountant and has been with HHM since 2008.

Fletcher is a graduate of Columbus State University in Columbus, Ga., and has more than 10 years of experience in public accounting. Her practice is concentrated in the areas of tax planning and preparation for high net worth individuals and their closely held businesses. She lives in Dalton, Ga.

HHM is a CPA and consulting firm based in Chattanooga.


Dr. Deal joins Surgical Arts

Dr. Chad Deal has joined Southern Surgical Arts, according to an announcement by Dr. Carey Nease.

Deal is a fellowship-trained cosmetic surgeon, and board certified by the American Board of Surgery, a release said.

He is a graduate of the University of Alabama School of Medicine and spent five years training as a general surgeon with Baptist Health Systems in Birmingham, where he was a chief resident. Last year Deal completed a cosmetic surgery fellowship program in Las Vegas.

Nease also said Southern Surgical Arts is beginning construction this month for a build-out of space in the SOHO building on Main Street on the Southside. The project is set to be completed by early April.

Deal and his wife, Jennifer, and their two sons live on Lookout Mountain.


Reeves joins real estate firm

Ali Reeves has become an affiliate broker and social media director for Robinson Real Estate Inc.

She is originally from Pensacola, Fla., and has been a resident of Chattanooga for 20 years.

She is E-Pro certified and has been a licensed affiliate broker since 2004, closing more than $10 million in residential transactions.


Pyle promoted by Southern Tool

Chaney Pyle has been promoted to accounts payable manager at Southern Tool Steel Inc., a steel service center.

Pyle joined the company in 2004 and became accounts payable assistant manager two years later.

She attended Northwest Georgia College and lives with her husband, Eston, and son, Jarrod, in Ringgold.


Combs opens Dalton office

Brandon Combs has announced his opening of a new State Farm Insurance office at 236 N. Hamilton St. in Dalton, Ga.

Combs is a native of Dalton and a third-generation State Farm agent. He is a graduate of Georgia Southern University.


Jones accepts partnership

"Lonnie" Edward Jones of Edward Jones in Ringgold, Ga., has accepted a limited partnership in The Jones Financial Cos., the holding firm for the St. Louis-based financial services business.

Native North Georgian Jones joined the Edward Jones firm in 2000 and has served investors in Ringgold since then.

Sixteen thousand of the firm's associates have received the initial limited partnership offering or have been invited to increase their stake in the firm, a news release said.


Babb earns GRI designation

Tammy Babb of Luken Holdings Inc. has earned the Graduate Realtor Institute designation from the Realtor Institute program, according to the Tennessee Association of Realtors.

A graduate has to complete 90 hours or more of coursework and six exams.

The GRI program is administered by the Tennessee Real Estate Educational Foundation Inc. and one in eight Realtors in Tennessee holds the designation.


Buhrman receives designation

Attorney Richard W. Buhrman has received the designation of Accredited Estate Planner from the National Association of Estate Planners and Councils.

He has practiced law in Chattanooga since 1970 and has been the owner of his own law firm since 1974. That firm, Buhrman & Associates P.C., includes his son, John R. Buhrman.

The practice has offices at 419 N. Market St. and focuses on tax and estate planning, trusts, probate and estate administration as well as business formation.

Buhrman is a graduate of the University of Chattanooga and Duke Law School. He also earned a Masters of Law in Taxation at George Washington University.

He is past president of the Chattanooga Community Kitchen.
