What were Chattanooga's biggest new building projects in August?

In August, Chattanooga issued 273 building permits for nearly $39.7 million of new building projects. The biggest ones to start were:

1 Archer Daniels Midland (ADM) new terminal being built at Enterprise South industrial park by MPL Construction Co., $9.1 million

2 Memorial Hospital new emergency room entrance and MRI facility at Glenwood campus by Brasfield & Gorrie contractors, $2.9 million.

3 Chattanooga State Community College interior building renovation for the Wacker Institute at 4325 Amnicola Highway by J&J Contractors Inc., $1.5 million

4New restaurant by William Hulsey at 6021 Relocation Way in Ooltewah by P&C Construction Inc., $1.1 million.

5Beta Beta chapter at the Alpha Delta Pi sorority at the University of Tennessee at Chattanooga, 1124 E. 10th St. by Bill Worley Construction Co., $800,000
