InterContinental Hotels Group held a ribbon cutting for its new Holiday Inn near Hamilton Place mall Thursday.
The 137-room inn is the first hotel outside downtown Chattanooga to offer an on-site restaurant, full bar and room service.
"When you come back from playing softball or you've been in a meeting all day, it's nice to have everything there for you," said Sandra Love, a hotel spokeswoman.
Love said the hotel has performed strongly since its soft opening on Feb. 2.
Multiple nights already have been sold out, according to the company.
