Citizens State Bank today will officially open its new 3,000-square-foot building in Monteagle, Tenn., which includes a community area dedicated in honor of CSB founder and longtime chairman Robert Reece Thomas.
U.S. Rep. Scott DesJarlais, R-Tenn., will be on hand. The public is invited to the celebration today from 10:30 a.m.-12:30 p.m. CST.
Geoffrey J. Post, CSB chief executive, said that when Thomas founded CSB 42 years ago, his philosophy was that a local bank could make a difference in the quality of life of the families it serves, and the bank has tried to stay true to that mission.
