Ex-Chattanooga Neighborhood Enterprises leader Leigh Ferguson in New Orleans

Leigh Ferguson, the former president of Chattanooga Neighborhood Enterprises, has been named director of economic development for the Downtown Development District in New Orleans. In his new role, Ferguson will be responsible for attracting new business and jobs and promoting downtown real estate development in the Crescent City.

Ferguson has worked in the real estate industry for 35 years and most recently worked as senior developer for Bayer Properties and executive vice president for Sloss Real Estate Company Inc., both in Birmingham, Ala.
