The Chattanooga-made Volkswagen Passat sedan was picked as one of KBB.Com's 10 most confortable cars under $30,000.

The midsize Passat ranked No. 8 on the list, and it was the least expensive car at $19,325, according to KBB.Com.

The Chevrolet Impala topped the rankings, selling for $26,605.

The Kelley Blue Book Internet site said that new-car buyers don't necessarily have to shop a luxury brand to get an extremely comfortable car, noting that mainstream money can buy some of the quietest cabins on the road, along with many of the comfort-oriented features that debuted upmarket just a few years ago.

Cyber attack hits hospitals

Community Health Systems said Monday a cyberattack took information on more than 4 million patients from its computer network earlier this year.

The Franklin, Tennessee-based company said no medical or credit card records were taken in the attack, which may have happened in April and June.

But the company said the attack did bypass its security systems to take patient names, addresses, birthdates, and phone and Social Security numbers.

Community Health operates 19 hospitals in Tennessee, including the 351-bed Skyridge Hospital in Cleveland and the 135-bed Harton Regional Medical Center in Tullahoma., and five hospitals in Georgia, including the 50-bed Fannin Regional Hospital in Blue Ridge.
