Chattanooga Allergy Clinic opens in Cleveland

Chattanooga Allergy Clinic has opened a new and expanded satellite office in Cleveland, Tenn., 14 years after the doctors' practice first expanded into Bradley County.

Dr. Todd Levin said the clinic has doubled its patient load at its West Side Drive facility in recent years and decided to move into a larger office at the new Ocoee Place office complex. "It has always been a privilege to care for the wonderful people of Cleveland and we look forward to treating all Bradley County and Athens residents for many years to come," Levin said.

Chattanooga Allergy Clinic also operates offices in Hixson, Fort Oglethorpe and on Volkswagen Drive and Lee Highway in Chattanooga.

The grant will go toward infrastructure improvements that will provide a more reliable water source to businesses. It will also support Eastman's recently announced $1.6 billion effort to expand and improve its corporate campus.

The EDA says the grant will create an estimated 120 jobs in the area and generate $640 million in private investment.

Georgia Winery goes statewide

The Georgia Winery is broadening it's distribution throughout Georgia.

The Ringgold, Ga., winery expanded into Chattanooga in 2011 through an agreement with Athens Distributing. Earlier this month, Georgia Winery signed on with Empire Distributors Inc. to make its wine available across the state of Georgia.

Georgia Winery will be distributing its top six sellers, featuring wines made from Georgia's local grape: Muscadine. Also included is their specialty, Georgia on my Mind, a delicious blend of Peach and Muscadine.
