Wal-Mart will hire up to 95 associates to work at the new Wal-Mart Neighborhood Market slated to open this fall in East Ridge. The retail giant announced Tuesday that it has set up a temporary hiring center inside the Fort Oglethorpe Wal-Mart Supercenter at 3040 Battlefield Parkway.
Applications will be accepted Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. Interested applicants also may apply online at http://careers.walmart.com.
Wal-Mart plans on opening at least seven Neighborhood Markets in the Chattanooga region.
The majority of new associates will begin work in September to help prepare the store for its grand opening.
