Jimmy John's in downtown Chattanooga closes temporarily

The Jimmy John's restaurant on Market Street in Chattanooga has temporarily closed.

The eatery is undergoing renovations. The restaurant, which opened in 2009, will reopen later, according to the store's telephone message. The owners of the local Jimmy John's franchise could not be reached today.

There is another, separately owned Jimmy John's at 5111 Hixson Pike which opened in 2013.
