The Unum headquarters building is located in downtown Chattanooga.Unum and its employees contributed $3 million in 2014 to non-profit organizations in Southeast Tennessee and North Georgia, according to a news release from the company.
The sum was part of nearly $13 million in total charitable support from the company in the U.S. and U.K., the release said.
Employees in Unum's Chattanooga office volunteered 23,000 hours of time to their favorite local causes last year, the release stated.
