Unum Group and its employees contributed $3 million in 2014 to non-profit organizations in Southeast Tennessee and North Georgia, according to a news release from the company.
The sum was part of nearly $13 million in total charitable support from the company in the United States and the United Kingdom.
Employees in Unum's Chattanooga office volunteered 23,000 hours of time to their favorite local causes last year, the company said in its annual report of its philanthropy.
