Volkswagen of America is recalling 62 2015 Passat sedans made in Chattanooga because of a brake-line problem that may result in leaking brake fluid, according to the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration.

"The affected vehicles have a brake line at the left rear wheel area that may not have been properly tightened," said NHTSA in its recall summary. "If the brake line was not properly tightened, it may leak brake fluid, causing a reduction in braking performance, lengthening the distance needed to stop the vehicle and increasing the risk of a crash."

There are no accidents or injuries linked to the recall, Volkswagen told federal safety regulators. The affected vehicles were built from May 18, 2015 to May 21, 2015.

Volkswagen dealers will tighten the brake-line fitting. The recall has begun. Owners can contact Volkswagen customer service at 1-800-822-8987.
