Retro TV adds Chicago station

Retro Television, Inc. has entered into an affiliation agreement with WRJK in Chicago (DMA 3). WRJK, operated by Major Market Broadcasting, launched Retro TV last Thursday,on Thursday, taking the place of previous Retro TV affiliate, W25DW.

"With a unique mix of classic science fiction, dramas, documentaries and soap operas, I believe Retro TV has something for all classic TV lovers," said Ravi Kapur, president of Major Market Broadcasting.

Retro TV is one of seven networks operated by the Chattanooga-based Luken Communications.

"Our entire team looks forward to working with them to bring The Best in Classic Television to the Chicago audience," said Tim Krass, Luken's vice president of affiliate sales.

With an assortment of vintage comedies like Mystery Science Theater 3000, The Lucy Show and The Joey Bishop Show as well as classic dramas including Doctor Who, The Doctors and Route 66, Retro TV offers The Best in Classic Television.
