Rack Room Shoes will open a new store in Fort Oglethorpe, Ga., Thursday in the Parkway Plaza shopping center.
The family footwear retailer, which currently has nearby stores at Hamilton Place Mall and in Cleveland, Tenn., Dalton, Ga., and Calhoun, Ga.,offers a wide selection of brand-name shoes for men, women and children, including Adidas, Nike, Sketchers and Timberland.
"We saw the new Parkway Plaza retail development as a chance to provide a more convenient footwear destination for Fort Oglethorpe families," said Rack Room Shoes Regional Manager Jon Cobb. "We wanted to give local customers the opportunity to shop for their footwear needs in their own community."
Store hours for Rack Room Shoes are Monday through Saturday, 10 a.m. to 9 p.m., and Sundays, noon to 6 p.m.
