Erlanger Hospital is seen from the UTC library's balcony in this Dec. 9, 2014, file photo. Erlanger and Aramark officials Monday hoisted their distinctive Starbucks cups to toast the grand opening of the new Starbucks Coffee lounge and cafe in the hospital's medical mall.
The new Starbucks Coffee lounge represents the first phase of a major remodeling and expansion of Aramark's food service operations throughout Erlanger Health System. The additions include Chattanooga's first Au Bon Pain restaurant, along with upgraded Chick-fil-A, Subway, Mein Bowl and other food service options.
Current hours of operation at Erlanger's new 60-seat Starbucks are 6 a.m. through 5 p.m., Monday through Friday, with plans to offer limited weekend hours in the future, as well as extended weekday operating hours. In addition to standard Starbucks coffee, tea and pastry menu items, Erlanger's expanded Starbucks Coffee shop also offers a variety of lunch items including paninis.
