More than 20 employers will be conducting job interviews and hiring workers during a job fair next Wednesday from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the Chattanooga Times Free Press building, 400 E. 11th St. in downtown Chattanooga.

Employers from a variety of industries will be accepting job applications and scheduling employment interviews for positions in healthcare, transportation, manufacturing, administration, retail, office work, general labor and other fields.

The all-day job fair will be conducted on the third floor of the Times Free Press building, two blocks east of Chattanooga City Hall.

Those who pre-register for the job fair at www.timesfreepress.com/jobfair by noon Tuesday, Aug. 16 will be eligible to win an Apple iPad Mini, if they attend the job fair. Persons may also show up Wednesday without advance registration to talk with employers about employment opportunities.

Persons are urged to come dressed for success in professional or business casual attire and to bring plenty of copies of your resume, updated with the most recent work history and skills.
