The Little Caesar's on Ringgold Road is neither hot nor ready after a recent health inspection.

The East Ridge restaurant received a 66 - a failing grade - after a health inspection found unacceptable conditions at the pizza joint.

Hamilton County's health inspector found employees eating food in areas where food is supposed to be prepared for customers, which isn't supposed to happen.

Food in the walk-in cooler was not protected, according to the report. In fact, employees kept personal beverages stored next to food products in the cooler.

Mixing things that ought not to be mixed wasn't contained to the food prep areas and the cooler. According to the inspection, employees stored clean and dirty dishes side-by-side, which is a restaurant no-no.

And the overall cleanliness of the restaurant was a problem, with numerous non-food contact surfaces dirty throughout the kitchen, according to the report.

On the other end of the spectrum, six restaurants received perfect scores.

They include:

* Chicken-W-Bones - 6227 Lee Highway

* Krystal - 6199 Lee Highway

* Central Park - 5119 Hixson Pike

* Christy's - 3469 Brainerd Road

* E Z Frost - 271 Northgate

* Dinner on the Diner - 4119 Cromwell Road
