Graphic Solutions Inc. in Hixson has adopted a new name, Flywheel Brands Inc., as the family owned print management company marks its 35th year.
"An overwhelming client response recently initiated the expansion of our services," founder, president and CEO Jay Simpson said in a statement. "We began to feel the energy build within our organization, which prompted the idea for the name, Flywheel Brands. Just like a flywheel mechanism, our purpose is to provide momentum, where in this case it's for the brands and missions our clients represent."
Inspired by his father's work in advertising, Simpson wanted to explore the industry's possibilities, and in 1981, he officially launched the company out of his own garage.
What started as a decal production enterprise is now a print management company that serves businesses, such as Google and Panasonic, across the nation in addition to firms in the Chattanooga area.
