Nissin Brake in Rock Spring, Ga., seeks 10 machine operators

The Georgia Department of Labor will conduct a job fair Saturday, May 14, in Rock Spring to help Nissin Brake recruit 10 full-time machine operators.

The recruitment will be held from 9 a.m. to noon at the company's manufacturing plant located at 216 Thacker Drive.

Due to U.S. Occupational Safety and Health Administration regulations, all applicants must be at least 18 years old. Also, they must have a high school diploma or a General Education Diploma. While it is not required, the employer prefers applicants who are able to lift 40 pounds, stand for eight hours, climb stairs, and meet other physical demands. The work may require the use of hand tools.

The salary ranges from $10.25 to $13.35 an hour.
