Integrity Staffing Solutions, which came to Chattanooga in 2011 to help find workers for Amazon, placed or employed about 5,000 people in the state last year, most of those in Southeast Tennessee.

Integrity has more of a presence in Chattanooga and Cleveland, Tenn., where Amazon has distribution centers, though the staffing business also services Nashville, said Jonathan Barnes, the company's communications director.

Overall, the Delaware-based company that turns 20 years old today has locations in 20 states and 220 clients nationally, he said.

"Most people know us because of our relationship with Amazon," Barnes said.

He said Integrity has about 10 clients in Southeast Tennessee serving the light industrial sector, which includes warehousing, and clerical and administrative operations.

"A whole other part of the business is that we do clerical," Barnes said. "We see growth happening in that area as well."

Depending on need, Integrity often employs workers at a site, paying their wages and offering benefits such as dental and health. Those associates may work alongside workers employed by the company, such as Amazon, where the Integrity associates are employed.

Barnes said Integrity, which has its Chattanooga office at Highway 153 and Lee Highway, had 2016 revenues of $500 million. That made the company the 26th largest staffing business countrywide, he said.

To mark the company's 20th year, Integrity is awarding over $100,000 to associates, staff members and charitable organizations.

Todd Bavol, the company's co-founder and chief executive, said company staff and associates are "the cornerstone of our success and have been a critical part of our growth over the years." Bavol said in a statement that the company wants to "give back to the people and communities."

According to Integrity, 1,000 of its 10,000 associates nationally will be randomly chosen to win $20 gift cards. Also, every Integrity staff member will be awarded a similar gift card. In addition, 180 staff members will win $200 gift cards, and those people will select a charitable organization, which will each receive $200.

Barnes said Integrity has succeeded because it's "an associate-focused company."

"That differentiates us from other staffing companies," he said. "If we make them successful on the job, we make the client successful."
