Jim 'N Nick's Bar-B-Q plans to open a new restaurant near Hamilton Place mall.
The Birmingham-based chain is slated to put the eatery in The Shoppes at Hamilton Place at the site of the former Fox & Hound restaurant, said Stacey Keating, a spokeswoman for shopping center operator CBL Properties Inc.
Brian Lyman, the restaurant chain's president, cited the location of the planned barbecue within the Hamilton Place footprint.
"There's already such a great group of existing businesses at Hamilton Place," he said in a statement.
The Chattanooga restaurant is to open this fall. Jim 'N Nick's has 39 restaurants in seven states.
