Traynor joins CWC in East Tennessee

CWC Office Furnishings has named Mical A. Traynor as director of operations for East Tennessee.

With more than 10 years in the furnishings and design industry, Traynor will oversee the growth of business for CWC with territory stretching from Chattanooga as far north as Johnson City.

Traynor is a graduate of Auburn University and served as sales manager for the Bramble Co. in Atlanta before moving to Chattanooga in 2010 with her husband, Dan.

Also joining CWC are Sarah Roach, a UTC graduate and longtime interior designer, and Jane Easterly. David Dillard manages the company's warehouse located just off the Aminicola Highway.

CWC's showroom is located on the corner of Seventh and Broad Streets in downtown Chattanooga.

SunTrust adds Yates as mortgage lender

Bootsie Yates, a 16-year banker in the mortgage industry who previously worked for First Tennessee Bank, has joined SunTrust Bank as a mortgage loan officer.

Specializing in all types of mortgage lending, she is experienced in working with first-time and experienced home buyers to find the right mortgage product.

"I have originated three or four loans for some of my clients as well as for their children and friends," she said. "That is the best compliment I can receive."

Yates' office is located at 736 Market St. in downtown Chattanooga.

Young to head STS saw operations

Southern Tool Steel Inc., a full-line steel service center specializing in cut pieces, has promoted Garrett Young to warehouse team leader and saw trainer. Young will be responsible for supervising all saw operations and will assist in managing and maximizing warehouse workflow. His appointment includes training all new and existing warehouse saw operators at STS's Hixson-based warehouse facility.

"Garret's positive attitude, consistent job performance, and reliability are all key qualities we aspire for in our warehouse leadership team," said Matthew Lundholm, warehouse manager at Southern Tool Steel.

Young, 22, joined the company in 2010 as a metal bandsaw operator.

Business Systems adds Greene

Shaun Greene has joined Business Systems and Consultants on the materials storage sales team as the Tennessee account representative. Greene has two years of sales management experience. He is a 2009 graduate of West Virginia University and MBA candidate from Robert Morris University.
