Project: Stonebrook subdivision

Owner: Emerson Properties

Location: Near the intersection of Wooten and Graysville roads in Ringgold, Ga.

Contractor: Justin Hunt.

House sizes: 1,100 to 1,700 square feet with unfinished space for additional square footage.

Price range: $118,000 to $169,000.

Scope: Stonebrook is a fledgling subdivision that eventually will include 40 lots. Cottage-style houses have exterior stone and brick siding with craftsman-style roofs, as well as granite tile showers. The houses have small lawns with provided yard maintenance. The subdivision will feature a community pool.

Timeline: The first six houses are under construction, two are complete, one has been sold. The rest of the subdivision will be finished within two to three years.

Market: Real estate agent Donnette Moore hopes to sell homes to both first-time buyers and retirees. The smaller homes are great for buyers who want to downsize or are just getting started, she said. The subdivision is close to Graysville Elementary School and a short drive from I-75. It's a 20-minute drive from downtown Chattanooga.

Contact: Donnette Moore at 423-355-0231 or Lori Montieth at 423-503-2450. An open house will be held from 2 to 4 p.m. today.
