Project: Infiniti of Chattanooga.

Owner: Furrow Automotive Group.

Location: 7648 Lee Highway.

Architect: Pope Architecture.

Size: 17,000 square feet.

Cost for project: Around $4 million.

Scope: The state-of-the-art dealership will include six sales offices, two drive-in service lanes, eight services bays, seven cleanup bays and a full parts department. Between 25 and 30 people will work at the dealership. Employees will sell around 75 new and used vehicles a month. The building, one of only a handful of new Infiniti dealerships being built from the ground up, will include energy efficient lighting and windows. "This will help us fully serve our customers," said George Becknell, the dealership's general manager.

History: Furrow Automotive purchased the Infiniti dealership from Tim Kelly in April 2013 and has been operating out of a nearby Land Rover show room while the new building goes up.

Timeline: The dealership should be finished by May 2.
