Project: FSG Bank office.
Location: 3200 Keith St.
Contractor: PW Campbell Contracting Co.
Scope: The new building will consolidate two FSG offices in Cleveland - a 10-year-old branch in the Village Green Town Center and an eight-year-old branch on Mouse Creek Road. "We want to be a dominant small-business bank, effectively serving the needs of business owners, managers and their employees," said Martin E. Schrodt, FSG's executive vice president and head of retail business. "That translated into a vision for a single, well-located, attractive building with access to user-friendly technology."
What's new: The teller line will have "teller pods" and in-lobby teller machines to handle most customer services. "More and more clients prefer self-service to having to wait," Schrodt said.
Staff: Four employees, headed by Market President Barbara Baxter.
Target opening: Late July or early August.
Investment: $800,000 building permit issued by the city, excluding land and amenity costs.
About FSG: With assets of nearly $1.1 billion, the Chattanooga-based FSG operates 23 full-service and two drive-through branches throughout East Tennessee, Cookeville and North Georgia. FSG plans to merge with Atlantic Capital Bancshares later this year.
