The newest edition of the Honda Accord has undergone about $4,000 in additions - but they only equate to a few hundred- dollar increase on the retail price.
Economy Honda Superstore has the new sedan in ample quantity and varieties on the lot.
According to Corey Choate, general manager at Economy Honda, the ever-popular and class-leading Accord is part of the reason the dealership has set records and continues to do well despite the tough economy.
"We've had a successful year," Choate said. "We're the No. 1 dealer in the Alabama, Georgia and Tennessee region for new car retail volume during the month of September."
Pricing on the 2013 Accord starts at $21,680 with the LX version and culminates with the new Touring model, which comes loaded with features and amenities, priced at $33,430.
A backup camera has been added to all the 2013 Accord models. The picture is displayed on a monitor located on the dashboard. Also new is a blind spot camera located on the side-view mirrors which also displays its picture on the dash.
Choate added that the Accord's gas consumption has improved with the 2013 model and that the sedan was named one of Car and Driver magazine's "Ten Best Cars" for the 26th year in a row.
"We're extremely excited about the new Accord," he said. "It's a great value and it allows us to focus on the best customer experience and service we can possibly provide at Economy Honda."
That same dedication to customers and their experience echoes throughout the dealership's philanthropic efforts; Economy is raising money and helping garner support for breast cancer awareness.
Since October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month, Economy Honda is working to raise at least $5,000 for breast cancer research throughout the month, Choate said. Throughout October, the dealership is donating $1 for every "like" the business receives on its Facebook page; staff is wearing wear pink shirts every Saturday; pink balloons adorn the grounds; pink ribbons are on sale at the dealership.
"We just want to give back to the community because they've been so good to us throughout the years," Choate said.
