Joe Galloway represents District 6, which includes which includes Lookout Valley, Lookout Mountain and parts of North Chattanooga.
Galloway was first elected to the board in 2010.
He retired from Hamilton County Schools in 2009 after 35 years as a teacher, coach and assistant principal at Lookout Valley Middle/High School. He still volunteers as a basketball coach at Lookout Valley.
Galloway graduated from Tyner High School, received a bachelor's degree from the University of Tennessee at Knoxville and a master's degree from the University of Tennessee at Chattanooga.
