Rick Wilson, Democratic candidate for Hamilton County mayor, says he's now spent more than $30,000 on his campaign.

Much of that went toward a recent television ad buy, he says. Now Wilson is cycling seven separate ads on local TV.

Last week's ad buy is the second for Wilson's campaign, which is largely self-funded. He made a $50,000 loan to himself at the start of the race.

His Republican opponent, Jim Coppinger, spent $104,000 on a television ad buy earlier this month. Coppinger has raised more than $200,000 since announcing his intention to run last fall.
