CAN YOU HELP THIS MOM?
"This may sound like a weird question, but I'm wondering how you guys (especially stay-home moms) handle door-to-door solicitors? Lately, it seems like we get a lot of this in my neighborhood, and when it's just my daughter and me at home alone, I'm wary of answering the door to strangers. Most of the time the visits are of a religious nature, but there are also salespeople. The more I think about it, and the more I hear about scams and home invasions, the less comfortable I am answering the door. (Sad, huh?) Plus, I just treasure my family time and get annoyed when it's interrupted in this manner. Do you guys ever think about this?
