Q: My aunt in another state gets different coupons in her newspaper. Why?
A: Coupon inserts in newspapers are not printed by the newspaper itself. Instead, there are clearing-house companies who facilitate the coupons that manufacturers want offered. This gives manufacturers the option to distribute into certain markets where their products are offered or sold in greater quantities. You may not get the same coupons as someone across the country because the manufacturer may not offer certain products in stores in your area.
