ROCK RIVERBEND
The May Chattamoms Cute Kids contest continues. Submit photos at the website through today. Voting will begin Monday. Also, you still have time to enter the Chattamoms Kids Talent Search Contest. Upload a video of your child performing song or dance through today and he or she might earn a spot performing at the Riverbend Festival in June. Auditions will also be videotaped at Hamilton Place Mall today from 1 p.m. to 5 p.m. Auditioners must reserve a time online at Chattamoms.com. Videos of the performances will be posted online, and winners determined by online voting May 14-28.
CAN YOU HELP THIS MOM
"I got on Facebook a couple of months ago because I felt like I was missing out. Every once in a while someone asks to be my friend that I truly don't know. They are people from high school (I had to get the yearbook out) and I honestly don't think I ever spoke a word to these people. They look very nice and all and I recognize their faces. What do you guys do, become their friend just to avoid hurt feelings? Chances are, our paths will never cross since I went to high school in another state."
