Chattanooga Now Gallery talk remembers Robert E. Rittenhouse

Thursday, Shuptrine's Gold Leaf Designs, 2646 Broad St., will celebrate the opening of a new exhibit of works by the late artist Robert E. Rittenhouse with a reception and gallery talk. The reception is scheduled 5-8 p.m. At 6:15 p.m., Dr. Mutka Panda, a friend of the artist, will explain how she uses his art in her medical career to inspire others. Panda was Rittenhouse's physician when he was diagnosed with amyotrophic lateral sclerosis, commonly known as Lou Gehrig's disease. For more information, call 266-4453 or visit http://shuptrines.com.
