The July installment of the third annual Southside ArtStroll is scheduled tonight at a cluster of studios and galleries on Main and Mitchell streets.
Participants include Area 61 Gallery/Showroom (61 E. Main St.), Hart Gallery (110 E. Main St.), Miki Boni Studios (1611 Mitchell Ave.), Planet Altered (48 E. Main St.) and Red House on Main (55 E. Main St.).
The stops will be open extended hours, and many will offer light refreshments and special programming. At Planet Altered, for instance, Jen Ervin will be featured in a night of improv.
For those wanting a meal, Conga Latin Foods Restaurant on East Main will be serving its Central American fare. The restaurant also will feature local art and have live music on the deck.
Buzz Pedicabs will be available to ferry passengers between stops or to other downtown destinations, such as the Nightfall concert, when they have finished strolling. Drivers work for tips.
The monthly Southside ArtStrolls continue through September. For more information, call 475-5533, email firstname.lastname@example.org or visit www.facebook.com/SouthsideArtStroll.
