Museum Center photo contest looking for 'Historic Places, Outdoor Spaces'

Photographers of all ages and skill levels are invited to submit works for a photo contest spotlighting "Historic Places and Outdoor Spaces."

The contest is presented by the Museum Center at Five Points in Cleveland, Tenn., to showcase the talent of local photographers and celebrate the history and beauty of the Southeast Tennessee/Northwest Georgia region.

Cash prizes will be awarded in three categories: professional, amateur and youth. Entry forms, along with specific guidelines on theme, photograph dimensions and presentation, can be picked up at the museum, 200 E. Inman St., or found online at www.museumcenter.org/forms/ 2011_Photo_Contest_Guidelines.pdf.

Submissions will be accepted Oct. 17-22 (10 a.m.-5 p.m. Monday-Friday, 10 a.m.-3 p.m. Saturday).

All submissions will be included in an eight-week exhibition at the museum Oct. 29-Dec. 31.
