Each spring, the graduates of the program at Chattanooga State Community College present full-length plays as their final project. The students will also present "All This and Moonlight," a romantic comedy by Charles Johnson next weekend, April 27-29.

"These Shining Lives," set in the 1920s, focuses on the strength and determination of women considered expendable in their day. The women paint the watch faces with radium for the Radium Dial Watch Co.

It is a story of survival as the women refuse to allow the company, which took their health, to steal their spirits.
