"Broad Street Studio View" and other "plein air" oil paintings by Victoria Pearmain will be featured at In-Town Gallery, 26-A Frazier Ave., during September. Although "plein air" paintings often conjure images of meadows, trees, mountains and sky, Pearmain has a different take on painting on location. Her recent works for "Urban Landscape" portray places that may go unnoticed by passersby. An opening reception for the exhibit will be 5-8 p.m. on the first Friday, Sept. 7.
