Thirty-one middle-school musical theater majors will be featured in a fully staged production of "Once Upon a Mattress" this weekend at the Center for Creative Arts, 1301 Dallas Road.
The musical by Mary Rodgers, daughter of Richard Rodgers of Rodgers and Hammerstein fame, is based on the story of "The Princess and the Pea."
The production is directed by Jason Whitehead, with choreography by Jessica Laliberte-Bowman.
Performances will start at 7 p.m. today and Saturday in the school auditorium.
General admission is $10, with tickets available at the door each night.
