Baylor Players look to the future in 'Fahrenheit 451'

The Baylor Players, including Nora Corser, top, and Cory Gold, will present the final performances of "Fahrenheit 451" this weekend at Baylor School, 171 Baylor School Road. Ray Bradbury's stage adaptation of his sci-fi masterpiece, about a future without books, launches the company's 2012-13 theater season. Instructor Beth Gumnick, chairwoman of the Fine Arts Department, is directing the production, which features 57 cast and crew members. Remaining performances will be at 7:30 p.m. Thursday, Nov. 1, and at 2 p.m. Saturday and Sunday, Nov. 3-4 (no Friday performance). Tickets, $5, are on sale in the Campus Store (bottom floor of Baylor's student center).
