Shuptrine's Gold Leaf Designs, 2646 Broad St., is showcasing the work of Nashville artist Roger Dale Brown at its fall open house today, Oct. 24. Brown was honored with the Artists' Choice Award and an honorable mention at the 2013 American Impressionist Society's 14th annual National Juried Exhibition. Among his works at Shuptrine's is this 30- by 24-inch oil on canvas, "Holding On."
