"Texture and Shadow: Paintings by Ellyn Bivin and Renel Plouffe" has opened at Graffiti, 505 Cherokee Blvd., a gallery that focuses on contemporary art for urban spaces. Representative of their works are "Pens and Needles," right, by Bivin, who has been a fixture on the Chattanooga art scene since the 1980s, and "Urbaine," above, by Plouffe, a native of Canada who moved to Chattanooga from Houston about six years ago.
