"Uncontained" by Ron Brown, on display in the student exhibit at the E.G. Fisher Library in Athens.Students of Community Artist League members have supplied the works for the April exhibit at the Mayfield Gallery inside E.G. Fisher Library, 1289 Ingleside Ave., Athens, Tenn. The pieces vary from acrylic to watercolor to pastels. Students range in age from 8 to adult. Among the works included are Ron Brown's watercolor "Uncontained." A reception will be held for the artists and their teachers from 1 to 3 p.m. Saturday, April 26. The exhibit will remain on view through Wednesday, April 30. Library and gallery hours are 9:30 a.m.-8 p.m. Monday, Tuesday, Thursday; 9:30 a.m.-5:30 p.m. Wednesday, Friday; 10 a.m.-5 p.m. Saturday (closed Sundays and first Wednesdays).
