The next Painting for a Purpose, the adult painting party offered by the 6th Cavalry Museum, 6 Barnhardt Circle, in Fort Oglethorpe, Ga., will be held Thursday, April 27, from 5:30 to 8 p.m. Coyee Langston will lead participants in making "Dandelion Dreams," shown. The $40 fee includes catered dinner, canvas and paint supplies so everyone leaves with a completed work. Guests may bring the adult beverage of their choice and should bring an apron or old shirt to protect their clothing. Proceeds from the painting session benefits the museum.
