On one night in December 1956, record producer Sam Phillips brought together Elvis Presley, Johnny Cash, Jerry Lee Lewis and Carl Perkins at Sun Studios in Memphis for an impromptu recording session.

That unforgettable night inspired "Million Dollar Quartet," the Tony Award-winning musical that will open Friday, April 28, at the Cumberland County Playhouse, 221 Tennessee Ave., Crossville, Tenn., and continue through June 9.

Featuring over 20 rock 'n' roll hits including "Blue Suede Shoes," "Folsom Prison Blues," "Hound Dog" and "Great Balls of Fire," the musical is sure to get toes tapping and hands clapping as those legendary performers come to life onstage. Rated PG for frank dialogue, drinking and mild adult language. Tickets are: $29 adult, $27 senior, $24 group/military, $16 student.
