Reception opens 'Four Seasons at Reflection Riding' exhibit at Exum Gallery

A reception will be held Friday, Aug. 4, from 5 to 7 p.m. opening "Four Seasons at Reflection Riding," an exhibit of 78 original oil paintings by Rena Malone. The gallery is located inside St. Paul's Episcopal Church, 305 W. Seventh St.

Guests may meet the the artist and enjoy refreshments while perusing work in the show, including "Autumn Glow," shown.

Malone says she is a long-time member of Reflection Riding Arboretum and Nature Center, which was her inspiration for this series.

"Reflection Riding is a Chattanooga treasure and the subject of two years of work preparing for this exhibit," she says. "I experience such joy, peace and tranquility when I am immersed in the beautiful landscapes and wildlife that abound throughout the Riding. I hope my paintings reveal that serenity to the viewers."
