Heritage House Arts and Civic Center is hosting two screenings of "The Bishop's Wife" Thursday, Dec. 21, at 2 and 7 p.m. Heritage House is located in East Brainerd in Heritage Park at the intersection of East Brainerd and Jenkins roads.

The film stars Cary Grant, David Niven and Loretta Young. The classic Christmas movie tells the story of Bishop Henry Brougham (Niven), who is having trouble finding the funds to build a new cathedral. Brougham prays for divine guidance and his plea is answered - but not as he expected.

Suave guardian angel Dudley (Grant) arrives on the scene to help, but he's not been sent to earth to be a fundraiser. His mission is to spiritually guide the bishop, his parishioners and even the clergyman's family.

This PG movie is appropriate for the entire family.

Admission and popcorn are free.
