Emmy Award-winning actress Elaine Bromka, who has more than 30 years of film, television and stage experience, will present her one-woman show about a trio of first ladies, "Tea for Three," tonight, Jan. 19, at the University of the South in Sewanee, Tenn.

Bromka created the show with playwright Eric H. Weinberger after starring as eight first ladies opposite Rich Little in the PBS show "The Presidents."

"Tea for Three" offers a behind the-scenes look at Lady Bird Johnson, depicted here, Pat Nixon and Betty Ford, with an eye toward humanizing the political scene through their experiences in this unusual "job."

Reviewers have praised the production as both whimsical and deeply moving.

The show begins at 7:30 p.m. CST in Guerry Auditorium.

Admission is free.
