From the moment three gamblers claim "I've got the horse right here" to open "Guys and Dolls" with "Fugue for Tinhorns," the odds are good that the audience is in for a night of laughs and memorable music.

Artistic Civic Theatre has three performances left in its production of the musical at the theater, 907 Gaston St. in Dalton, Ga. Show times are 8 p.m. today, Friday and Saturday, July 27-29. Tickets are $15, $13 and $11.

Gambler Nathan Detroit is trying to find the cash to set up the biggest craps game in New York City while the authorities breathe down his neck.

Nathan hopes to win a $1,000 bet against Sky Masterson, a gambler willing to bet on practically anything. Nathan proposes a bet he believes he cannot lose: Sky must take a doll (a woman) of Nathan's choice to dinner in Havana, Cuba. Sky agrees, and Nathan chooses straight-laced missionary Sarah Brown.

The show is filled with memorable songs such as "Luck Be a Lady," "Adelaide's Lament" and "Sit Down, You're Rockin' the Boat."
