"No Sex Please, We're British," a farce written by Anthony Marriot and Alistair Foot, opens tonight, May 18, at the Blue Ridge Community Theatre, 2591 East First St., Blue Ridge, Ga.
Assistant bank manager, Peter Hunter, lives in a flat above his bank with his new bride, Frances. When Frances innocently sends a mail order off for some Scandinavian glassware, what she receives is Scandinavian pornography.
The plot revolves around what is to be done with the veritable flood of pornography, photographs, books, films and eventually girls that threaten to overwhelm the happy couple.
The matter is complicated by Peter's mother, his boss, a visiting bank inspector, a police superintendent and a muddled friend who does everything wrong in his reluctant efforts to set everything right.
The play runs Thursday, Friday and Saturday evenings at 7:30 p.m., along with 2 p.m. Sunday matinees, through June 4. Tickets are $10, $18 and $20.
